For all classes
- Classes are open to all but they are designed to provide a facility for same sex dancers
- Classes are held at the Thistle Hall on the corner Arthur Street & Cuba Street, upstairs
(enter through Arthur Street side).The entrance is via the door
- Cost is by koha
- You do not need to bring a partner
- You can start on any day during the series
- You decide whether you wish to lead (traditional male role) or follow (traditional female
role). Many people try both to see which they like best
- The classes are taught by predominantly volunteer teachers with some professional teachers
- Classes are not held on holiday weekends or from mid November till February. See below for

Sunday Night Classes
- For both men and women
- Beginners from 7pm till 8pm
- Intermediate from 8pm till 9pm
- Initial beginners programme Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Quick Step, Jive, Gypsy Tap and Merrilyn
- Initial intermediate programme (still to finalise) including Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue
Wednesday Night Classes
- For women only
- From 5.30pm till 6.30 pm
- The programme covers Waltz, Rhythm Foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha, (Slow) Jive
